PAPA BEN No one has mastered that yet put I have read where an auto will run on gas with a fuel air mix of 14-15 to 1 where HHO will require 30-1. Measuring output , take a 1 liter water bottle and fill with water, turn it over in a bucket of water anad put the hose into it and time how long it takes to fill.
i am haveing some problems with my hydro boost that i built. can anyone help. i posted a new thread in the problems and workarounds. titled heat and no escape. i would appreciate the feed back!
AW Skip the magnets . The fuel heater will work, How much gas are you producing?I have set my Efie to .220 and it's running smooth, might try turning it up a little and see how the motor responds. I have also ran a breather tube to the bottom of my genertator to introduce more bubbles to help scrub the bubbles off the plates. I have the gas piped into the pcv line , which has to much vacumn so I also put a ball valve in the line ad turned it down to control the suction, it could pull the water right out of the bubbler.
Thanks, Bagrman
I posted July 17 Installed booster on 1996 Cheverlote Van V-8 5.7 liter.
Took your advise put on an
EFIE. Have set at .200 millivolts. My MPG have gone
from 17 miles on highway to 20.3 MPG. My city was 12 to 13 MPG now I getting 16 MPG
My combined driving. I was getting 14 MPG now I get 17 MPG. What do you think the max is? I have had a tune up.
Do you feel adding a fuel heater would help? Also what is your feeling on magnets?
1938bob,\you can use what is called a spark plug extender. the is a lot of information about this available. an adjustable EFIE is the best bet though. with the sparkplug extender you unscrew the o2 sensor and screw in the extender(you may have to drill out the extender to fit the o2 sensor.then you put the o2 sensor back into the spark plug extender and it makes the o2 sensor sit further away from the exhaust gasses and does not read the extra o2.
As I understand it the cell plates are very short lived due to corrosion from electrolisis. Have you looked into the cost of electroplating them with gold? gold plate is used in many electronics exactly for that reason, it doesnt corrode. I am not talking about solid gold but gold plating
Robert You might get worse mileage as I did. 18 to 14. The O2 sensor sees the extra oxygen as a lean condition and puts in more gas.
1938bob take a liter water bottle and fill it with water turn it over in a bucket of water and stick the hose in it, then time how long it takes to fill with gas.
Go to fuelsaver-mpg.com and read up on their EFIE.. Theres nothing that the gas will do to hurt the motor unless your truck sucks the water out of the generator or bubbler, even then the motor will burn it up if it's slow enough.
another newbie here. i built my cell from what i learned on youtube. just a few new ideas i added. it makes a large amount of gas & burns real well, off the bubbler. im looking for some other smaller type of anti flashback, smaller than the bubbler. another thing is that ive only hooked it up on my 95 dodge dakota, like maybe 45 min. fear may cause some harm to the truck.? what do i do for the sensors/computer? any suggestions?
Hi all, New to this,we are try to build our own generator but need sum info on how it works, have a basic understanding but lots of gaps that needs to be filled, if anyone can send me a basic diagram on how the componants goes together plz at pottie84@gmail.com
